Future-Oriented Intelligence relates to analysis methods and ways of creative thinking to better understand the future.
The more advanced or strategic intelligence capability an organization wants to have, the better the capacity for understanding the future needs to be. There are various methods for this such as:
- Scenario analysis
- Trend analysis
- Creative thinking techniques
An intelligence analysts needs to understand these and also be able to implement them involving the input from people all over the organization. This is not an easy task, but the result is powerful when you are successful with this.
At the conference, we will also discuss current hot topics like internet bubbles, lack of information source criticism in society today, president Trumps disbelief in intelligence organizations and other aspects that have impact now and in the future on our work as intelligence professionals and the intelligence capability of our organization. These topics will be addressed in the “round-table sessions” as well as in the “expert panel”.
